Exercise is important...

Well, everyone knows that exercise is important...who doesn't?

Everyone knows that we must exercise at least 3 times a week, at least half an hour each time. I, for one, am always procrastinating, but never taking proper action. I just missed yoga this week too, because I watched a movie with my family - Firewall. A good show...didn't regret it..

There was a period of time when exercise was part of my schedule. It went something like this: morning, jog. Evening, swim or jog. Eat only one meal a day, with some soup at night. Well, I lost 8kg in a month! However, after I met dada, this seems to be all gone. There seems to be no motivation to work hard, or to exercise anymore...sigh..I NEEED TO EXERCISE!!!

This morning, at 7:00 in the morning, I woke my brother up from his deep sleep, and then dragged him to the gym with me. We went to the gym at Jurong East Sports Complex. I always didn't visit the gym, because I feel that it was a total waste of money. I pay $2.50 to get in, and then these were what I did:

  1. The treadmill for 20 minutes (this is standard).
  2. The step machine for 5 minutes (because the person beside me stank like s**t.
  3. The cycling machine for 10 minutes (too tiring for the thighs)
  4. The ab machine for about 20 times (tired...)
  5. The bicep press for about 15 times (tired...)
  6. the tricep press for about 15 times (...)
  7. The thigh machine for about 10 times ()
  8. The sit up bench for about 20 times (...)
  9. ...

SO, as you can see, it was a total waste of money. My mum will always say, in keeping with the spirit of the Singaporean kiasu attitude "go gym for what? never fully utilise it...only use less than one hour then go home already..."

No cameras were allowed there, so I couldn't take any photos inside the gym.

However, narcissistic me will never give up any opportunities to take photos. This was taken outside the gym... The second one is with Kelvin, my brother. I told him he looks gay..haha. See how sleepy he looks?

My conclusion? I still like Yoga. (Though I will be taking hip hop dance soon...hee).

Hey! Guess what? Tonight I will be going for dinner: Pizza...well, at the very least, I ran on the treadmill for 20 minutes! =P
