30 April 2006 - Kukup (2)

My brother complained that the way the blogs were arranged was very hard to read, because there was a post before this. Here's a link to the prior entry...*sigh*...people are so hard to please.

The next morning... 30 April 2006.

It's amazing, but I was not the only one...When we arrived at Kukup the previous day, I thought the day passed damn slowly. After what seems like forever, it was only 1230 when we went to bed.

Then, the next morning, when it seems like I have slept forever, I woke up feeling refreshed. At 0630. Hmm..I thought I was the only one. Then, I told everyone out loud, and it turned out that everyone felt the same way also...hmm.

Went to shower, and took a photo with da da early in the morning...

Breakfast...Fried bee hoon, and a very small packet of traditional nasi lemak, with a hot cup of milo. Ahh. the simplicity of rural life. Sometimes it's just nice. To just relax, and not bother about anything at all...

After breakfast, it was still very very early, around 0730. The bus was only coming at 11 to pick us up. After packing everything, we decided to have another game of mahjong. It was still early, afterall..haha.

At around 11, all activities ceased. Everyone was doing almost nothing. Then, I decided to get all the young ones for a game of "Heart Attack". In the end, around 11 people joined in, and it was a full blown game. We were making so much noise, screaming and shouting...haha.

On the way out to the bus terminal to wait for the bus...long and hot walk...and everyone looked so tired...bleah =P

This is the bus terminal...

Us waiting for the bus...hee...representative of us: FROM LEFT, da da, kel and I.

We left our resort, and had lunch at this place: The Kukup Golf Resort. Apparently, from websites, this place was the most expensive resort in Kukup. However, upon stepping into the resort, I'm kinda glad we didn't put us residence there...haha. IT was nothing good man... sigh. Sometimes looks can be deceiving.

The food inside the restaurant sucks.

Us waiting for the food.

After lunch, on the bus, the uncle asked us where we wanted to go, before we return to Singapore, because it was still kinda early. We told him that we wanted to go shopping, and preferably at City Square. However, he said that it would be quite hard, because it was very near the causeway and it would be very congested.

And so, he dropped us at Jaya Jusco, where da da told me his colleague said there was... DUNKIN DONUTS!!! We went wild at the thought. Both of us loveeeeeed.....Dunkin Donuts. We can have lots of them at one go.

However, we were disappointed because there was nothing much to shop inside the place. The only highlight of the place was the donuts, I guess.

On the way out, we went to Mac and bought more burgers to eat. Keep in mind that this was after lunch. Ha. I really neeed to hit the gym. sheesh.
