Pedicure...and mask... =P

5th May 2006. Friday. Kelvin's birthday. Unfortunately, due to the HUGE fight we had the other day, which involved a hamster, his computer, and my parents, we were not goint to celebrate his birthday... Ok. Long story. Will not bore all of you to tears trying to follow the story. Anyway, in the morning (or nearing afternoon, rather), I SMSed Dina, asking her if she wanted to go to the gym to workout (Actually, deep inside I was hoping she would say "no", because I was feeling kinda lazy as well..but if she did say "yes", then it would be the motivation for me to go workout...) Anyway she said that she didn't want to workout, but didn't mind lunch though. And so, we went to the market for a meal of "mee hoon kuay", a.k.a hand made noodles. It is GREAT....Anyway, to cut the long story short, I told her I wanted to have a pedi again, and asked her to accompany me there. She said that she wanted to do it as well. We wanted to try the shop at Ginza Plaza that Rosalind recommended, but then when we called up, they said that there was only enough manpower to squeeze another one more customer only. And so, we decided that we would go to the shop at Jurong Point; where the both of us (coincidentally) have been doing our pedi all along...This time, I did this colour, and had a nail art done as well. It's actually two butterflies. Quite satisfied with it...=P

However, after the pedi was done, I realised that the wedge heels that I wore there (the Zara one which I have) will damage the pedi because of the design...And what was the solution?? To buy a new pair of sandals, of course; one that would allow the nails to dry properly without any risk of damaging it. ha ha...And so, I went to get this pair. You see, there is a lot of trouble, because I have to take into consideration the clothes I was wearing, because I was going to meet da in town after the pedi...*sigh*...=-P (It's just an excuse...if you still dun get it...) I kinda like it. It's bling, and goes with what I wore for the day...

Anyway, while doing the pedi with Dina at Jurong Point, I received an SMS from Rosalind, saying that she was in Jurong Point after meeting her practicum supervisor, and that she had about 2 hours off while waiting for some religious stuff to start. She asked if I wanted to meet for coffee. Told her that Dina and I were doing pedi upstairs, and asked her to come up and meet us. What a small world! After the pedi, we went for coffee, and then we left for our different destinations: Ros back to NTU for her church thingee, Dina off to the hairstylist (try to folow this link: She said that she did her hands and legs, she should not "waste" it by going home. Therefore, she should go out with her friends. In order to do that, she has to style her hair...Hmm) and I to meet da in town...

Oh, by the way, I went to try this black mask thingee by Kose, after Ros recommended it. SHe was not the first one to tell me about it, and I decided that I simply have to try it, to see how amazing , or good it is. It cost $34!! And apparently, according to the salesgirl, it can allow me to use for 8-9 times...bleah.

Went home, all excited, and got ready to use the mask. Bathed, washed my face, and put it on. Here's my rating for it.

Scent: 3 /5. Although it was nice, it was kinda overpowering, and could be made more soothing.

Effectiveness: 4 /5. Looking at the mask after I have peeled it off, it is great. I see lots of blackhead stuck on it, and the face feels really clean after that. So far, no adverse side effects. I have sensitive skin...SO I guess it's qute good...=)

Ha ha. I thought it looked cute... ha ha...
