My new home @ commonwealth
Hey peeps!!
Here's an update of my new home... it's already built, and I guess it's 90% complete. We should be getting our keys to the home soon... Last week, Da and I went to the place to "reckee" the place, and also to check out where our home was.. Took some pictures... Fortunately, the whole place was quite cool...as in, you know how some places can be quite stuffy and airless? This place is not.. We couldn't manage to go into our block, because it was still undergoing construction. Of the three blocks, only one block was already opened for occupancy. The other two were still not ready. Most of the people who have moved into the ready block were moving in under the SERS (Selective En-Bloc Scheme).
For those of you who still don't know where it is, go take the MRT. As the train passes by Commonwealth (heading towards Queenstown), you will see 3 new blocks of flats.. That's mine..alright..one of the units is mine.. hee hee..
The one right in the middle is my block.. We got block 91.
This is amazing.. Each block has 6 lifts... SIX!!! Three of the lifts caters to the 1 to 21 storey, and another three caters to the 22 to 40 storey.. Interesting!! Hee hee..

This, is the view from the 28th storey. The first time I went up, got a bit giddy. Plus, the lift ride up is also quite an experience.. I guess people who are afraid of heights cannot visit my house.. heehee..

well... need i explain more about this pic..
Here's the block lor... in the middle of the junction between Commonwealth and Queenstown.. Quite self sufficient.. There is Tanglin Halt market just behind, it's 5 minutes from the MRT station, 10 minutes' drive from Orchard, 10 minutes' walk to Holland V...what more can I ask for?
