Two days, One night.
"Bound for adventure, changed for life". That was the slogan the moment we arrived at Outward Bound (OBS) on Monday morning.
It was the staff retreat of Clementi Primary. Everyone was in school bright and early at 7.30. Boarded the bus that took us to Punggol Jetty, where we took the boat to Pulau Ubin. I had mixed feelings about being there. Fear of the unknown, apprehension about the types of things that I would be asked to do, excitement because I have never known my own physical limits, nervousness because I don't know what would happen.
Well, all inhibitions aside when I touched down on Ubin. I told myself that I was there to have fun, and boy did I... haha.
I did things that I have never done before (e.g.: rock wall boulder climbing, vertical climb, log climbing, water rafting on a raft that was made by my very colleagues- boy am I proud of them...) and resulting in an ache like nothing I have ever felt before.
Here are some of the pictures taken on the trip... It was sad that not many pictures were taken though, because I was involved in most of the games, and I couldn't carry my phone along with me because I was afraid I would lose it, or worse still, drop it... =)
Here's Nazli, my good good friend... hands up, those of you who think she looks like Ivy Lee. (thanks. I knew you would think the same too..)

This is right at the entrance of OBS. Apparently it's a 75% replica of the boat which Raffles set sail in to come to Singapore. It's also an obstacle course. There were many many obstacle courses like these in OBS, but we didn;t get to try it.
It's a pity that I didn't get to take photos of all the stuff that we played. It was really cool.

This is where our bunks were located. IT's up the steep slope. Looks alright from here, but can you imagine having to climb up this slope late at night, after a whole day of strenous activities? I could have sworn I heard lots of curses.. haha. However, in the morning, the air was really fresh. (And not to mention the mass of mosquitoes that were not afraid of anything at all... sheesh)

Here's the entrance of OBS from the boat.

And not to mention the magnificent sight...
