See how much Darling has grown...

I have not been putting up photos of the little darling these few months. Have been to see her, but had no time to take photos...

I went to visit darling last weekend, and see how much she has grown? She really is a beauty, isn't she?
And cheeky, not to mention
She is the only child in the family who has started calling da "gu-zhang" (which means "uncle" in chinese). Everytime da hears it, he told me his heart skips a beat... hee. So cute..

La la la... she asked to take a photo in this pose...
That's her brother with her. Both are equally naughty, both are equally cute..
This tilting of the body seems to be her favourite pose of the month.. with that wide geeky smile and the cute squinting of the eyes..
When asked to take a photo with da, she initiall stood so far away. Asked her to stand nearer, but she refused.. She say "I don't want", and insisted I took a photo like this. When I showed it to her, and told her this one not pretty, then she was willing to move closer...
The two greatest love of my life.. I thank god for the simple things in life to remind me that life is still beautiful...

Have you been to Chinatown??

Well, I clearly have not, because it's one more week to the dreaded CNY, and I have not even set foot into CHinatown... So Last week, da and I decided to be brave souls, and venture in to that scary place they call Chinatown.. haha.

Before that, we left home bright and early, to go shopping. (Oh, did I mention that I also have not bought any clothes for the new year? Totally no mood at all..)

I decided that I had to buy some clothes for the New Year. (Hey, it's "suay" not to start the new year with new clothes...)

Da went to Levi's to get a pair of new jeans, and the three of us got into our camera crazy moods again. Played around with the mirrors in the place, and "captured" angles...

Only one conclusion: It's been so long...time has taken its toll on me, but I am still so pretty...*sigh*. what to do?? haha

I like the way the photo appears. The multiple images created by the mirrors is nice... =)

Here's my long lost sister and I

Oh yes, the beauty of it all.... This is the focus point of all photos.. the "beautifullest" (quote unquote one of my kids) of them all... Then we had dinner at marina Square. Isn't the decor pretty? But, it still cannot outshine the beauty of the one in the foreground... haha.

Ok. I can't take much more of this nonsense..

we wanted to be "adventurous" and walk to Chinatown from CityHall; that was the original plan, but we changed our mind at around 10, when we were finally leaving for chinatown. We have already walked the whole day, and our legs have been jellified already... So we walked back to our car, and drove to Chinatown...

This photo was taken at CityLink Mall by da's brother, who joined us for dinner.

Awww......

Here. We finally arrived in one piece at Chinatown... Didn't manage to take any photos INSIDE the place, becuase it was simply too squeezy... Here's Kelvin and ShuXian...
There. The famous waxed meat stall. What is New Year without it??

Dinner at Yan Palace

Had dinner last Saturday at Yan Palace @ Chinatown. It was mummy's friend's company's Annual Dinner and Dance. (I know...what's it got to do with us..it's not even REMOTELY related to us)....

Hee hee..what to do? We are just so popular everyone wants to invite us to dinner.. Really quite hard to reject.

Anyway, I wore my "kungfu" pants with my chinese Cheongsam top... Here's while waiting for the dishes to come. They had karaoke in the room, but seriously, there was no chance for us to sing at all (by the way, all of us were quite impressed that they had all the latest songs there...)
Shu Xian and I. Everyone says we look alike. What do you think?

We had so much abalone that I was really quite put off abalone.. not to brag... =)

Here's my adorable da with me... I realise that we have not been taking a lot of photos recently. The start of this new academic year is really taking its toll on me. I don't know how much more I can take before I will go off the line.

Boo hoo.....

Hey dear readers...

It's been quite some time since I blogged yah? And seriously, I couldn't even squeeze time out, much as I try. I really try. The only reason why I can write this blog is because I am at home, recovering from a bad throat and fever. Yesterday (monday), woke up early in the morning with a really really bad throat. Da helped me to call the school to inform them about me not able to report to work for the day.

Then around 11, I went to Dr. Chan to consult him and to get medicine for me... =).

He is really our family doctor. Everyone in the family visits him when we arenot feeling well. I went to see him about the fever, and also about an injury in the knee which I got from the gym. **SOB! You know what he prescribed me?

GLUCOSAMINE! Geesh! That was for old people!!!

he said that I didn;t have a choice. I had injured my joints, and I needed to repair it first. He also told me to stay away from my kickboxing! (OH MY GOD! KEEP AWAY FROM KICKBOXING? IT'S TRUE THAT I WILL RECOVER FROM MY KNEE INJURY, BUT I WILL GO CRAZY BECAUSE KICKBOXING WAS MY ONLY OUTLET FOR VENTING FRUSTRATION... ALL THE CRAZY THINGS IN SCHOOL, FROM PARENTS CAN BE LET OUT IN KICKBOXING CLASS, WITH THE "ENEMY" IN MIND, AND SHOUTING EVERYTHING OUT AS I PUNCH AND KICK THEIR BRAINS AND NOSES OUT)

In order to continue my exercise for life, I decided to be a good girl and just rest for 2 weeks. Dr. Chan said to keep away from it for at least 2 weeks, but 2 weeks is the max I am willing to stop. No way I will store that anger away for too long. I will die holding it inside me. =(

ANyway, I am resting now, and it's a good time to catch up with my work that I have not been able to complete...

*sob* I don't even want to think about the things that I will have to do tomorrow when I get back to school... =(
