we are going to the zoo, zoo, zoo.. how bout you, you, you?

We went to the zoo last Saturday, before the start of school, and left early in the morning... =)
Bright and cheery!!
Because my throat was very sore, I could only have some liquid foods...but this porridge is very very nice... Porridge with chicken. This whole set only costs $3.50! Can you imagine... It's very nice.
If you want to try it, it's at Jurong West market. There is only one stall where they have this porridge. Really delicious! The porridge is very smooth, and the meat is very tender... =)
Da da had a delicious plate of wanton noodles... Have you ever stopped to wonder how the food tastes so good at a hawker centre? Our taste buds are already so accustomed to the fast foods and other convenient foods that we no longer appreciate the food of the hawker centres...

Haha.. You should know this. Chwee Kueh. Really very nice... (and sinful though...)
The Chai Poh... with the soft kueh.. really amazing... =)

Soya Bean milk with grass jelly.. "yuan yang". How many of you have not tried it before?
Here we are at the zoo... This is at the entrance. The new revamped zoo is really very nice. The entrance looks great...
Da da with the alligator.. metal one lah.. However, even though it's metal, I still didn't dare to go too near it to take photo.. phobia.. haha

This is the new "outback" area, where the kangaroos are allowed to roam free.
Hee hee.. Who is kissing who?
Self portrait with the new camera, but forgot to release the zoom... So this is a close up shot..
This is the better one..
See how tall a polar bear is? Aren't we small? Isn't nature amazing?
Have you voted online for the bears to be sent back to the Arctic? I think that it's best for them. You should look at the way that the bears are in Singapore. Their fur is all greenish, and all they do is to swim around in laps in that small tank...

Please do poll to send them back to the Arctic, where they really belong...

Da reading about some reptiile...

Hee hee.. I love da!!

Da loves me too!! =)
In conclusion, WE LOVE EACH OTHER!! =)

My new toy...

It's been some time...

But Patsie is back. This time armed with a new toy again.. muhahaha...

ANy guesses where I got it?? (If you need more than 1 guess, where have you been for the past week? You were either not in Singapore, or you really are out of the situation.. haha)

It's a Panasonic Lumix FX30... Got it from he IT fair.

I had wanted to get a Sony Cybershot, but then my brother's gf worked at the Panasonic booth for the IT Fair, and since the sales were commission based, I reckoned it should be ok to get it from her..

ANyway, here's the baby...

How's the photo quality?

Everything about this camera is fine.. the only thing was that the file size was humongous. And I have no idea how on earth to minimize it. One photo could take up tp 4 MB... that's huge. And loading photos up to my blog could take ages.. and I mean AGES... sheesh..

How's the photo quality of the new toy? Here we are at the coffeeshop.. Yesterday, every one took leave, and the initial plan was to go and look at my wedding gown... but...who knows? The shop was not even opened..haha. Of all days, they HAD to be closed on a Tuesday... bleah.

Is there ever a good time for anything at all?

It's the school holidays (thank goodness for it), and I don't have to face the little monsters for one week (rather, it's the parents who are the monsters...)

Sadly, it's also time to stay home and clear whatever has been owing since the term time.. exam papers, math worksheets, lesson plans, clearing of marking... sigh.

Anyway, I was at home, and watching a really amazing movie. Through watching this show, there's only one thought. Appreciate the things and people around you, and always try to find time for them. You never know when it will ever be too late.

EVerytime the one you love calls you to chat with you, never say "I'm at a meeting. Call you later".

You never know when it will be the last.

The next time the one you love asks if we should go out for dinner, never say "I've got to work late today. Maybe another day".

You never know when it will be the last.

The next time you want to say "I Love You" to the one you love, but you are caught up in doing something for the time being, don't say "I'll do it later".

You never know when it will be the last.

The next time you are thinking of doing something special for the one you love, don't put it aside. Don't wait.

You never know when it will be the last.

Don't wait till it's too late, and live in regret.
