My kick boxing pals...

They say working out needs motivation. These people are the ones who have kept me going over the months at Amore. They started off as people who were just "there", and gradually became my very good friends. They are people whom I know I can count on to hear my problems, and WHACK it out with me in kick-boxing class. I LOVE YOU ALL! =)

On the right of the picture in white, is Cheryl, my favouritest instructor in Amore. Haha. People say we look alike, and there is even this one member who insists that the two of us are related. hee hee. What do you all think? On my left is Vanessa, a very young and very very bubbly girl who can shout the hosue down. EVerytime we have kick boxing, she and I would be Cheryl's "Stereo" system. We would always shout at the top of our lungs. Believe it or not, aggression IS the key to stress relief. Trust me.
Look at our pink hand wraps. Love it. Thanks to Cheryl who bought it for me. =)
Ouch. So much for being my friends. Haha.
Yup. As above. =(

Girl power!
Haha. Trying to be funny. This pose is quite cute yah?
The new face of Amore. Haha. If any of you pass by Amore before, you would see Cheryl in one of this pose. Now it will be replaced by me! Muhahahahah!! =P
Yup. Side kick. HaiiiiyaH!

Annual STaff DInner 2007

Last night marked the end of a school year for us. That is, facing the pupils lah.. the work does not end there. In fact, there's lots of handing over and admin staff to do before we really get down to the BREAK. Well, I guess for us teachers, the year end break is really a well deserved one. We work really like dogs for the whole of the year, and well, suffer all the crap and stuff, and then we end up with a bunch of ungrateful pupils. What to say? Tsk Tsk...

Anyway, that's beside the point. The point is, this year it is our turn (last year's Beginning teachers) to organize the year end staff dinner. Well, it is sort of a "major" project, because we have got the past years' "image" to upkeep. Last year was quite good..and truth be told, I was quite reluctant to do it this year...furthermore, it was so near to my big day, I seriously didn't have the time nor energy to do it.

However, somehow I find myself being drawn into the loop, and getting my hands involved in a major part of the planning and organizing.. And last night saw the end results. I didn't even have time to take many photos.. I ended up being the emcee for the night (god knows how) and didn't even have time to eat. Now I know how the people in events management lose weight. Well, they basically just don't eat.

We, the committee members, kept telling ourselves that we would take more photos after the dinner, but we were all exhausted (that's an understatement) at the end of the dinner to do anything except pack up and go home... Hee.

I guess it was not so bad for a first time at trying out this organizing thing. None of us had any prior experience at all... the last thing we needed was for people not to enjoy the dinner..so...well, here's all the photos I had. =)

Our pride and joy. The decor of the hall. The dress code for thenight was actually "Clementi Idol", and the colour theme was yellow AND blue. Most of the people were quite qporty and dressed in theme..but as usual, we still had the people who didn't give a heck.

Aren;t the balloons beautiful?
Here's the "chairman" (self proclaimed).. haha. Vic and myself. He was also the co-emcee for the night.
My reporting officer, Miss SIm and I... She's a really sweet lady.. very helful and understanding. It's my honour working with her.
Well...the organizing committee lor. As you can see, our dear Susie (the one in red) was the only one who was NOT in red. She came, and then the first thing she said was "I didn't know you all were dressed in blue". *Duh*. =)
Me and Ning... Even her poses in photos look bimbotic.. what can I say.. hahah
Me with the girls. They took lots of photos last night.. which I didn't have the chance to join in.. sheesh...
Here's Nancy and Mrs Lew. Both of them have helped me in numerous ways. I am grateful to them for being so nice to me.. =)

Touch Concert 2007

Last Saturday, My darling girl Vivy performed for the K2 graduation ceremony 2007. She was in nursery, and she was, as usual, standing in the first row because she was quite small for her age, comparatively lah.. haha..

Can see how serious she is taking her job? She seemed to me like the only one who was able to memorise the steps well. And given the crowd, I'm surprised she didn't have stage fright, like she did last year. Hee hee.

It was a cha-cha performance, and it was a joy seeing her practise the dance when she thinks that she is alone. That's how "commited" she is.. WHen I'm at her house, she will think that no one is looking, and she will be dancing on her own. When she turns around and realises that I am looking, she will blush and push me out of the room. hehe.

My lil' darling... seen her grow from a pretty little baby to a pretty little girl.. and she will be my darling always.. hee hee.. =) isn't she adorable??

Cheeky... =)
Haha.. partner work. See how serious she is taking her work? Too bad I can't upload the video.. it's too big to load.. bleah... =P

These few photos were taken prior to the performance. Even when she's not posing, she looks perfect.. flawless. That's before time takes all the innocence away. One day down the road, we will look down and remember how she used to be so innocent... =(
Look at how happy darling is kaypo-ing with other people.. haha..

I Love her!
